Game Farm

On the coast
Huge elk looking for food
View of the mountains in the back
Huge grizzlies
Not sure which one this is

Yesterday was another beautiful day in the NW so we took a road trip up to Sequim (up in the Olympic Mountains). We stopped at this game farm which had bears, lions, zebras, buffaloes just roaming around and coming up to our window. Ella loved it until one of the Elk came out of nowhere into our window and scared her. Too bad I washed the car before we came here, now I have elk slobber all over the windows! This video is funny, Ella was going crazy with all the animals, this was just before the elk came over and made her cry!

My new niece!!

Lydia Anne Curtis was born July 3rd and weighs 7lbs 6oz and is 20 inches long. My parents are on their way to see her and hopefully will get lots of good pictures. We're flying out to Boston in August, so hopefully that'll give them some time to get into some kind of schedule with her ;) I'm so excited to meet her! Ella will have a playmate when they're older, they're just 7 months apart.

Riley dancing?

Ok, so Riley is a goofball when it comes to dancing, it must be from all the moves Jarom taught her. Megan this is the time we need you to come out and give her some real lessons ;)

Ohio/Colorado...lots of travel

Visiting w/ Kate and Luke in Morrison
Ella and Great-grandma Guiterrez
Riley and Grandma Eberhard

We've been all over the place lately. I had my 10 year college reunion at Miami and saw all my Petticoat girls, it's amazing how much our Petticoat family has grown yet some things never change. Miami was beautiful as always despite the 90 degree humid weather. After that we flew to Colorado to visit Jarom's parents and go to our friends wedding. The girls had some quality time with the grandparents and Ella decided that was her week to start pulling herself up to stand. She's crawling forward too now, I can't believe how fast she's growing.
We're finally home now and will enjoy this beautiful (not humid) weather ;)
Until our next trip to Rockport, MA to meet my new niece, who still has yet to appear!

Movin' & Shakin'

Here's Ella getting ready to crawl, she's been doing this rocking for a couple weeks now, I'm just waiting for her to go. When Riley sees her do it, she says that Ella is exercising. Yup, we start them out young here.
